Extra and special baggage
Extra bags
Adding a bag through Manage booking is cheaper than paying at the airport. Sample online price is $45 for 23 kg on domestic and regional flights.
Excess weight
Individual bags over the stated weight are charged per kilogram at the airport. No single bag may exceed 32 kg for handling safety reasons.
Sports and musical equipment
Golf bags, bicycles and instruments should be declared at least 48 hours before departure so hold space can be confirmed.
Items that cannot travel
- Lithium batteries and power banks must travel in cabin baggage, never in the hold.
- Aerosols, flammable liquids and camping gas are not permitted in either cabin or hold.
- Sharp items, tools and sporting equipment must be checked in, not carried in the cabin.
- Liquids in cabin baggage are limited to containers of 100 ml in a single resealable bag.
