Zimbabwean hospitality in the skies

Our airline

Zimbabwe's national carrier, connected to a wider national mission

Passenger journeys sit at the centre, supported by airline leadership, cargo, charters, aviation capability and routes that connect Zimbabwe to the region and the world.

The national carrier

A Zimbabwean airline with roots reaching back to 1946.

Air Zimbabwe's lineage runs through Central African Airways and Air Rhodesia before the national carrier adopted the Air Zimbabwe name at independence in 1980. Today it carries the IATA code UM and connects domestic, regional and international journeys from Harare.
